Brief Report on the Activities of the High Authority Office of the Supreme Court for the Third Quarter of 1447 AH

The major activities of the High Authority office of the Supreme Court during the third quarter of the year 1447 AH are as follows:

1. Pursuant to the decree of the Honorable Supreme Leadership and in accordance with the directives of the Chief Justice and head of the Supreme Court, on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr, (9,003) detainees were granted amnesty or sentence reductions.

2. A total of (2,684) official correspondences and proposals received from courts, ministries, and independent Emirate institutions on various matters were, following instructions of the High Authority of the Supreme Court, referred back to the relevant entities.

3. Three sessions of the Central Hilal Sighting Committee and (12) sessions of the Educational curriculum Committee were duly organized and conducted.

4. The Director of the High Authority office of the Supreme Court held meetings with numerous petitioners to hear and address their concerns and, where necessary, facilitated their meetings with the Honorable Chief Justice and head of the Supreme Court
