Brief Report on the Activities of the General Directorate of Audit and Studies of the Supreme Court for the Third Quarter of 1447 AH
During the third quarter of the year 1447 AH, the General Directorate of Audit and Studies of the Supreme Court carried out the following major activities:
1. During this quarter, analytical opinions were provided on (258) criminal, civil, and commercial cases, documents, miscellaneous Istihda’s matters, reports of the General Directorate of Judicial Inspection, petitions of applicants, and other related matters.
2. During this quarter, a number of procedures and regulations were reviewed, including: the procedure for handling administrative corruption cases of the Central Zone Military Court, the criminal division procedure of the General Directorate of Tamiz of the Supreme Court, the code of conduct for judicial members, the procedure for the production and use of official seals, the procedure of the special court concerning banks’ previous loans, the procedure for administrative staff of the Supreme Court, the procedure for the utilization of cultural centers of the Supreme Court, the procedure for issuing judicial decisions on foreign powers of attorney, the regulation of the activities of the Judicial Audit Directorate, the regulation book of the Studies Directorate, the correspondence regulation, and the guideline for the rotational form of real estate ownership documents; all of which were reviewed and forwarded to the High Authority of the Supreme Court for final process and approval.
3. During this quarter, principles were drafted for criminal cases based on credible information, context, or confession, and were submitted to the Honorable High Authority of the Supreme Court for approval.
