Brief Report on the Activities of the Judicial Deputyship of the Supreme Court for the Third Quarter of 1447 AH

The major activities of the Judicial Deputyship of the Supreme Court during the third quarter of the year 1447 AH are as follows:

1. A total of (625) official letters were received from various institutions of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan by the Judicial Deputyship for the purpose of seeking guidance. Following the directives of the Honorable Judicial Deputy, these were referred to the relevant authorities.

2. Based on the directives of the Honorable Judicial Deputy, (532) official correspondences concerning various matters were issued to the requesting entities.

3. (195) ta‘zir (punitive) case files were, after approval or amendment by the Honorable Judicial Deputy, forwarded to the relevant authorities.

4. A total of (2,359) petitions concerning legal and judicial matters were received. Following the directives of the Honorable Judicial Deputy, decisions were issued and communicated to the litigants or relevant authorities, while (679) petitions were rejected.
