The Honorable Chief Justice and head of the Supreme Court Visited the Kandahar appellate court

On 18/8/1446 AH, the Honorable Chief Justice and head of the Supreme Court, Sheikh Abdul Hakim “Haqqani”, visited the Kandahar appelalte court in the presence of all judicial members of the appellate, Urban, and military courts of Kandahar province.
At the beginning of the visit, the Honorable Chief Justice held a meeting with the judicial members. The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
Following this, Sheikh Abdul Hakim “Haqqani” addressed all attendees, instructing them to carry out all judicial and administrative tasks in accordance with legal principles and on time, to ensure that people’s cases are not delayed or disrupted.
The Honorable Chief Justice emphasized that all judicial officials must deal with litigants fairly and kindly, ensuring that their cases are processed as quickly as possible, even before the set deadlines.
Furthermore, the Honorable Chief Justice, in addition to providing necessary instructions to the judicial and administrative officials of this court emphasized on carrying out duties in accordance with legal principles and within the designated timeframe, He also listened to the participants’ requests regarding the court’s needs and assured them that their requirements would be met.
During the meeting, the head of the Kandahar appelate court, Sheikh Ghulam Hazrat “Abul Munzir”, also addressed. He assured the Honorable Chief Justice that judicial and administrative affairs were being handled in an organized and timely manner.
He further added that regular monitoring and inspections of all subordinate courts are conducted, their judicial and administrative activities are assessed, and necessary recommendations and guidance are provided accordingly.
At the end of the meeting, the Honorable Chief Justice listened to the requests and opinions of the judges.
